We are a not-for-profit community facility with a primary purpose of supporting active community development which is enabled through the mechanism of a financially sustainable social enterprise. The Place offers quality venue hire and state of the art facilities that are accessible to the whole community.

The founding principles of the organisation as a resource and avenue for local community development is at its core, the fundamental social purpose of our organisation – we exist to make people’s lives better in our wider community. The Place supports our diverse community to connect, share, learn and strengthen by anticipating and responding to our community’s evolving needs and encouraging community-led participation.
