Lake Macquarie Business is passionate about our future. And that means supporting our youth through our LMB Internship program. We thanks our Internship Program Partners: The University of Newcastle and ACPE.
What interested you in doing your Internship with LMB?
I was interested in being able to understand the strategies and thoughts that go behind the development and construction of a stadium. This internship has helped me understand that there are many different aspects in the sporting environment that require a wide variety of skillsets in order to be successful.
What interested you in doing your Internship with LMB?
My area of interest around sports management has grown since started I started my degree, and the description of this internship seemed the perfect fit. This internship has been a large learning experience about what I am passionate about, how to properly set myself when given a task to give my best work.
What interested you in doing your Internship with StadiArena?
I wanted to place myself into an area which I could have little experience and wanting to attempt new learnings. It was one of the most enjoyable WIL experiences I have been part of as it gave me more tools to use for both my personal and business growth. The surprise was my discovery of E-sports which I am pursuing.
What interested you in doing your Internship with LMB?
Stadimax interested me in how they raise revenue for stadium development. I thoroughly enjoyed my time through learning new knowledge but getting real life examples in the growing sports sector. These new skills supported me in what type of job I am looking for in the future.
What interested you in doing your Internship with LMB?
Stadimax attracted me by the clients that the business has worked with. I was very grateful to have been given this opportunity as it has expanded my thought processes and helped me with implementing the building blocks to trying to achieve my long term of goal of working in sports marketing.
What interested you in doing your Internship with LMB?
I wanted to apply myself in developing my business skills in the sporting industry. I learnt how the different aspects of sports business intertwine with each other to create a flourishing industry. This internship has definitely assisted my in narrowing down my career aspirations. I also created a career plan for sport that would benefit me greatly.
What interested you in doing your Internship with LMB?
I chose StadiArena as I was interested in providing services including consulting, project delivery, and licensing or multipurpose sports and facilities whilst focusing on financial liability and sustainability. As a result I gained valuable knowledge which will impact my future studies, career and daily life. Facility event management is now my key choice of career in sports.
What interested you in doing your Internship with LMB?
Working with LMB has been a privilege and I could not be more grateful to learn more about creating events and learning key skillsets essential to sport. It has given me an insight in different aspects of sports business. By creating databases for local teams as well as learning about e-sports has given me more opportunities and insights than I had.
What interested you in doing your Internship with LMB?
I’ve always been really interested in mission-driven companies, and LMB’s commitment to local business welfare really speaks to the values. I’m really excited about this opportunity because I think it will give me exposure to get connected with many different businesses to utilise my Human Resource skills and expose myself to a variety of business people for my association with Lake Macquarie Industry.
What interested you in doing your Internship with LMB?
LMB has wide range of portfolio of different sectors which gives intern an opportunity to choose jobs according to their passion and interest, and working passionately will help me to acquire more skills and knowledge. Moreover, LMB is currently working with many business in Lake Macquarie region which brings a second opportunity for interns to expand their networks.
What interested you in doing your Internship with LMB?
The diverse portfolio offered by LMB was the main reason, I chose for internship with LMB. The other reason was the experience that the directors at LMB can really help me to learn and grow in my field of interest.
What interested you in doing your Internship with LMB?
Gaining work experience in Australia while acquiring new skills with a company which is reinventing itself can help me to learn how businesses effectively grow. I also look forward to developing networking skills
What interested you in doing your Internship with LMB?
The most interesting thing about LMB is giving back to society and its commitment to assist local businesses. The pandemic situation has taught us the importance of supporting our local businesses and committing to do our bit for the community. Another thing that resonated with me is LMB’s association with national and state chambers which can help me to gain industry knowledge and meet and learn from business owners and mentors.
